Dubai Logistics

From 31st August 1981 I was employed by a German company,
Unitechnik Cieplik & Poppek as a Project Manager. My main responsibility was to set up projects including all the operational issues. I was fully responsibile for support and advice in operational start-up matters and logistics on most projects. As team leader I was responsible for designing, manufacturing, installation, maintenance and staff training.

The remit included project-related invoicing and other commercial matters. Project Management included schedule reviewing, managing and supervising project progress, material delivery control and review of contractual issues.

My excellent leadership and coordination skills helped, with my colleagues and managers, to complete our tasks quickly and effectively. I have very good communication skills with clients, suppliers and contractors alike. I can work under high pressure to meet the expected deadlines of clients.

From 1st July 2007 till 30th June 2009 I was appointed as Managing Director for
ICM Airport Technics in Dubai, a subsidiary of the Unitechnik Group. I was not only involved in project management but also enjoyed working closely with investors, financial advisors and all other parties in order to secure contracts and projects. Here I was involved in selling more of our services in a wide market range throughout the region.

interdev Presently, I am the principal of my own company, Interdev Automation based in Dubai. My company’s main activities are process automation in different production sectors, fully automated warehouse logistics and distribution centres. We provide turnkey project solutions for our clients, which includes consulting, planning, design and build as well as commissioning, integration and training. We also provide a full after sales service covering the whole of operational and maintenance support.
